Revolution in the caravan sector: Skydream presents the Smart Caravan!

On August 29, 2025, Skydream celebrated the global debut of its innovative energy caravans at the CARAVAN SALON DÜSSELDORF, Germany. With the aim of revolutionizing the caravan industry, the company presented two models that are almost ready for series production and impress with their integration of cutting-edge technology from cars and smart home controls. These innovations are the result of extensive research and development experience gained in both Europe and the USA.

Skydream's new designs break with the tradition of "white boxy vehicles" and incorporate innovative concepts such as "interstellar camping" and "land yacht". At the heart of these developments is the creation of an intelligent, mobile and flexible living space that aims to offer users worldwide a comfortable stay. In terms of equipment, the caravans are equipped with an LFP battery (45 kWh-85 kWh) and a solar charging system (1100W-2200W), which enables off-grid camping time of up to 14 days.

Technological innovations and design

A key feature of the new Skydream models is the possibility of bi-directional charging, which makes it possible to charge electric cars. In addition, the caravans have a reverse EV charging function, which offers additional flexibility. An intelligent driving assistance function also ensures body stability and uses dynamic assistance technologies to make driving easier. The caravan can be coupled and uncoupled automatically in just a few minutes.

A special highlight is the intelligent control system, which makes it possible to control lighting, door locks and air conditioning using voice commands or via mobile apps. Skydream plans to start pre-sales of these revolutionary caravans in the first half of 2026, further increasing the anticipation for these new products.

The all-electric Pebble Flow

Another exciting development in caravan technology is the all-electric Pebble Flow, which will come onto the market in 2025. With a starting price of $109,500, this model is aimed particularly at electric car drivers. The Pebble Flow features a futuristic, minimalist design that is available in various colors such as blue-gray, green, orange and brown-gray. The windows offer an impressive 270° panoramic view and are complemented by continuous LED light strips in the rear.

The technical innovations of the Pebble Flow include thrust-providing electric motors and an “Active Aero” front spoiler that helps increase the range. It is controlled via an app that can cover almost all functions, including automatic leveling. For additional convenience, the “Magic Pack” is available, which enables autonomous docking and costs $135,000. The “Founders Edition” is available starting at $175,000 and will launch in spring 2025.

The interior of Pebble Flow has a modern design and offers a kitchenette with an induction hob, microwave and refrigerator. The multifunctional space can be used as a bedroom or mobile workspace, while a Starlink satellite internet setup ensures connectivity. Other practical features include a fresh water tank of 140 liters, a waste water tank of 189 liters and an electric air conditioning system, which can also be controlled via an app.

Both models from Skydream and the Pebble Flow set new standards in caravan technology and offer numerous innovative options for modern, flexible travel. The combination of sustainable energy supply and intelligent control technology represents a significant step into the future of caravanning.
