The opening ceremony of the Eurovision Song Contest (ESC) took place in Basel on May 20, 2025, where Swiss singer Luca Hänni created a good atmosphere with his hit “She got me”. With his appearance, Hänni laid the foundation for his participation in the first semi-final of the ESC, in which he will be part of the “Swiss ESC Legacy”, together with other former Swiss candidates such as Gjon’s Tears, Paola del Medico and Peter Reber. His big moment will come on May 17, 2025, when he will take the stage again, this time in the big ESC final.
The next two weeks are tightly planned for Luca Hänni, which hardly allows him to spend time with his family. His wife Christina Hänni has decided to step back from the public eye for a certain period of time and take a break. Luca fully supports this and emphasizes the importance of breaks, especially in such a hectic environment.
