Big concert for the 80th anniversary of Vietnamese independence!
On August 29, 2025, Vietnam is preparing for a significant day of remembrance. On the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, which will be celebrated on September 2, a special concert will be organized under the theme “80 Years of Independence - Freedom - Happiness”. This concert will take place at My Dinh National Stadium in Hanoi on September 1st at 8:00 p.m.
Over 300 artists, including prominent singers such as Thanh Lam, Dang Duong, and My Tam, will take part in this historic event. The aim of the concert is to honor the remarkable history of the Vietnamese people and provide a retrospective of the path to independence and freedom. At the same time, a positive perspective on the future should be conveyed.
Ticket issuance details
Free tickets for the concert will be available from 9:00 a.m. on August 29th at the Hanoi Opera House (No. 1 Trang Tien, Hanoi). Each spectator is entitled to a maximum of one ticket, which is only valid for people aged 14 and over. To prevent double awarding, an original ID card is required. Tickets are issued at the entrance to the opera house, where IDs are checked. It is important to note that the tickets may not be sold or transferred and that the organizing committee has the right to refuse to issue the tickets if regulations are violated. In addition, no new tickets will be issued if they are lost or damaged.
The upcoming national holiday has its roots in a turbulent historical time. In the fall of 1945, a movement was formed in Hanoi that fought for independence and freedom. President Ho Chi Minh called for liberation on August 18, 1945, and his appeal became a symbol of a new era for the Vietnamese people. The subsequent August Revolution and the declaration of independence on September 2, 1945 are still among the decisive events in the history of Vietnam.
Virtual celebrations and memories
In addition to the concert event, the A80 Aggregated Information website was launched to mark the 80th anniversary of the national holiday. This website offers a wealth of documentaries, speeches, images and 3D exhibitions that keep Vietnam's history alive. It serves as an information hub for all celebrations surrounding the national holiday on September 2, 2025.
Hanoi, the birthplace of the revolution, is described as the country's political, cultural and spiritual center. The city embodies the unbroken flow of history and the collective desire for peace, prosperity and innovation in the digital age. The A80 website will play an important role in honoring Vietnam's traditions and passing them on to future generations.
All Vietnamese, both at home and abroad, unite in the belief that Vietnam should be preserved and promoted while looking back on the achievements of the last 80 years.
