Bavarian Court Festival: Experience a variety of enjoyment on May 24th and 25th in Munich!

The traditional court festival at the Ministry of Agriculture will take place on May 24th and 25th, 2025 in the ministry's jewelry yard in Munich. The initiator of the event, which is dedicated to Bavarian enjoyment, is Agriculture and Food Minister Michaela Kaniber. The aim of the festival is to present the diversity and honest enjoyment of Bavarian products. Numerous exhibitors from the areas of GenussOrte, GenussSchatze and GenussHandwerker are expected, offering a wide range of regional specialties.

Visitors can look forward to an extensive selection that includes baked goods, cheese, fish, meat and game products, as well as Bavarian wine. Particular emphasis is placed on the WINES from the “Franconian Wine Paradise”, especially from the GenussVenken Markt Sommerhausen, Ramsthal and Lindauer Bodensee, as well as from Franconian organic winegrowers and the Bavarian State Institute for Viticulture and Horticulture. stmelf.bayern.de reports that the event will be accompanied by music on both days, on Saturday by the group “Zam g'strickt” and on Sunday by “Wanderblech”.

Diverse accompanying program

The Hoffest also offers an exciting accompanying program. In addition to musical performances, the “Zamanand Festival” will take place in front of the ministry. Visitors can also get to know the “Farm Experience” learning program, which offers hands-on activities for young and old. On Sunday, the Grafrath Forest Adventure Center should not be missed, which is also part of the program. A competition will be held for families in which prizes will be raffled off for enjoyable experiences in GenussOrten.

A special highlight is the climate change garden, which is laid out along Galeriestrasse. Guided tours are offered here on Saturdays at 3:30 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. and on Sundays at 11:00 a.m., 12:30 p.m., 2:30 p.m. and 4:00 p.m.
