Holdenried Reisen, a renowned cruise specialist, has successfully moved its location from Heimenkirch to Wangen. The new premises in Spinnerei 1, 88239 Wangen, on the ground floor, will be available to customers from May 19, 2025. The opening ceremony took place on Thursday morning. Mayor Michael Lang celebrated this important moment and presented a picture of the historic building, which will soon celebrate its 125th anniversary. Managing director Peter Zick praised the new location as an “ideal” expansion for the company. After the move, customer service will continue at the new location.

Wangen acquired the Erba area, where the new premises are located, in 2009. The brothers Wilhelm and Wolfgang Forster bought the Neue Spinnerei eight years ago and converted it into a commercial space and 23 residential units. The rooms were originally intended for catering, but Holdenried Reisen has now found this to be the perfect place for cruise enthusiasts. Michael Lang, who described the location as a “great berth”, thanked Holdenried Reisen for the work they had done and congratulated them on moving in.

Modern and innovative design

Stylish design elements such as oak elements in the Holdi Bar and acoustic clouds were installed on the ceilings in the office. This cozy corner is the heart of the new business premises and is complemented by a canopy and a bar that is currently under construction. Visitors can also expect the Captains Lounge, a maritime atmosphere where drinks such as wine, beer and cocktails are served. A lavishly restored listed turbine serves as ventilation and gives the rooms a special charm. A new door with a porthole, made by Wangen craftsmen, complements the overall picture.

Planned events and opening times

The official opening of the new premises will take place on May 19, 2025, followed by an open day that will last from May 22 to 24, 2025. The opening hours for customers are Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. The company's employees can be reached for telephone bookings and consultations from May 12 to 16, 2025.
