The Da Nang International Fireworks Festival 2025 (DIFF 2025) is attracting a large number of tourists this summer. This major event will take place from May 31 to July 12, 2025, with competitions every Saturday except July 5. The event is themed “Da Nang – The New Rising Era” and features a fascinating backdrop on the eastern bank of the Han River, particularly along Tran Hung Dao Street.
On May 29, Da Nang's market management department announced that an interdisciplinary inspection team had been set up. This team is tasked with ensuring a stable festival season characterized by transparent pricing and protection of consumer rights. In preparation for the high demand during the festival, six rounds of inspection and price control will be carried out until July 12 to prevent unreasonable price increases.
Monitoring and price controls
The areas that will be particularly monitored include prices for hotel accommodation, passenger transport services on inland waterways, catering services and vehicle parking services. The Da Nang Market Management Force will work closely with relevant authorities to intensify inspections. The focus is on the key districts of Son Tra, Ngu Hanh Son, Hai Chau as well as main streets such as Bach Dang, Tran Phu, Hung Vuong and Tran Hung Dao. The head of the market management department plans continuous inspections, especially in Hai Chau and Son Tra districts.
In addition, companies are encouraged to clearly state their prices. A hotline will be set up to respond quickly to violations. Since the beginning of the year, 298 inspections have already been carried out and 189 administrative violations have been dealt with, including violations related to prohibited goods and food safety.
Competitors and events
DIFF 2025 will feature ten teams from nine countries, including Vietnam, Finland, Poland, the People's Republic of China, Canada, South Korea, Italy, Portugal and the United Kingdom. The Vietnamese teams are made up of Da Nang and Z121 Company (Chemical Company No. 21). The competition nights are planned as follows:

Seat prices are staggered differently for spectators. On regular nights, VIP A booths cost 3,500,000 VND while A booths cost 2,000,000 VND. On the final night, prizes increase to VND4,000,000 for VIP A booths. Ticket purchases can be made via the Sun Paradise Land mobile app or authorized ticket resellers, with early birders eligible for discounts of up to 35%.
Special features of the festival include a multi-sensory experience with music and fireworks, as well as the use of augmented reality (AR) technology via the Sun Paradise Land app. Accompanying events and cultural shows round off the festival offering.
