In 2027, Mein Schiff 2 will once again become the stage for the Rainbow Cruise, which has the motto “Rainbow Cruise: the next chapter – A future of unity”. This event trip, scheduled to take place from September 28th to October 3rd, is aimed specifically at the LGBTQIA+ community and their supporters. The start and destination ports of the cruise are Palma de Mallorca. Several stops are planned throughout the five days, including Palermo in Sicily and Cagliari in Sardinia. Between the excursions, guests will have two days at sea, during which a varied on-board program will be offered. The events are designed to promote diversity, inclusion and mutual respect, which underlines the purpose of the trip. During the day, cruise participants can take part in inspiring lectures, sporting activities and joint events.
Diverse entertainment offering
A highlight of the Rainbow Cruise will be the live concert by Conchita Wurst and Lucy Diakovska. In the evenings, changing theme parties are planned, which will be fueled by the Berlin party series “PiepShow” and DJane Miss Thunderpussy. Furthermore, artistic performances by DJane Katy Bähm, DJ Francis, singer Daniel Johnson, Linda Teodosiu, as well as a live podcast session with DJane Xandra will be offered. Pam Pengco will moderate the event.
In addition, entertaining program items such as the musical comedy by the Piano Buddies and other discussion groups, including guests from “schwarz & eng”, are planned. RTL presenters Kena Amoa and David Modjarad are also there with their show “RTL Exklusiv on Bord”. Sports offerings are supplemented by courses and lectures by Lucas Krzikalla as well as daily workouts with fitness coach Alexander Dennebaum.
