Cruise highlight: Ellwanger newcomers rock the AIDA stage!
The second “Glücksfühle Festival Cruise” of the Rostock cruise company AIDA started on June 8, 2025, taking participants on an impressive journey between Hamburg and Stavanger in Norway. The event, which took place about a month ago, lasted six days and featured a varied program with numerous live acts.
Schwaebische.de reports that the Festival Cruise was accompanied by a varied video series that presented new insights into the experiences on board every week from May 25th. Fans and interested parties were able to enjoy the impressions of the trip, while AIDA covered the costs for many participants through a press trip.
Unique artists and competitions
The winners of the AIDAradio Newcomer Contest also appeared as part of the Festival Cruise. The trio consisting of “Gusy”, “Sp!nox” and DJ Lowz beat around 2,000 applicants to secure a place in the line-up, which included around 30 artists in total. The established acts included Robin Schulz, Ski Aggu, Blümchen and Kool Savas. Their performances took place on the first day at sea.
A total of over 17,000 people took part in the public voting for the contest, in which both the creative input and the musical quality of the songs submitted were crucial. In addition to Gusy and Sp!nox, the DJs Listorio and Elepanthr also won, who also created a great atmosphere with their performances in the Beach Club on board the AIDAprima.
A festival for music lovers
The AIDA FESTIVAL Cruise 2025, which ran from May 6 to 11, 2025, was the second edition after the successful premiere in 2024. It offered passengers four stages and over 30 live acts, making it a must for music lovers. As with last year's event, guests could look forward to numerous talented musicians performing throughout the cruise.
