30 new tourism professionals celebrate their diploma in Thun!

Thun, Schweiz - On May 21, 2025, 30 students from the higher technical school for Tourism Tfbo in Thun celebrated their diploma celebration in the Hotel Deltaark. After two intensive years in which the students took part in two foreign seminars in Morocco and Rwanda, they can now proudly dipl. Tourism specialist HF »or« Dipl. Tourism specialist HF ». Stefan Otz, owner and director of the higher technical school, emphasized the enriching time that the students spent at the school and which she optimally prepared for a career in the tourism industry.

under the graduates stood Elias Gemperli, who wrote the best diploma thesis with a grade of 5.7. His work with the title "How can ski -independent winter offers increase the attractiveness and utilization of small mountain railway companies?" was commissioned by the Wierihornbahnen AG. For his excellent performance, he received a voucher worth 500 francs. Melanie Reinhard, who achieved the best performance in the class with an overall grade of 5.4, was also awarded a book voucher.

The celebration was accompanied musically by the band “Bearbeat” and offered the graduates as well as their relatives and teachers a festive framework. Three students reported in an entertaining way of special moments and anecdotes from their studies, while those present were able to trigger their joint success.
